Doering to visit Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, Australia
In November, Dr. Doering will travel to Charles Sturt University (CSU) in Wagga Wagga, NSW, Australia, to work with fellow faculty on designing, developing, and delivering online learning. Over a two-week period, Doering will give keynotes and workshops showcasing proven approaches to engaging learners online. CSU’s campus at Wagga Wagga is its biggest, spanning more than 640 hectares and including a campus farm, equine centre, vineyard, winery, and a huge range of technical and industry standard facilities. The history of the Wagga Wagga Campus dates back to 1892 with the establishment of the Wagga Experiment Farm offering vocational agricultural education on the current site of Wagga Wagga’s main campus. The first students were enrolled at the Experiment Farm in 1896.
