Doering keynotes Association for Information Science and Technology annual conference
Doering delivered the keynote for the 2015 Association for Information Science and Technology annual conference in St. Louis, Missouri, this week. Titled “Building Community Online: Connecting People, Places, and Ideas through Innovative Design,” Doering’s talk centered on what innovation in education looks like and how research is designed to contribute to society, culture, the economy, and the environment. Doering provided attendees with pragmatic steps any educator or instructional designer can take to foster transformational learning experiences that build community both online and face to face.
